CHRISTMAS

As Christmas season approaches and the madness begins I have a couple of thoughts (which is a lot for me).  First;  Jesus is the reason for the season.  Second;  Even if you don't believe that Jesus was the son of God, it's hard to deni that he showed us how to best live with mankind.  Merry Christmas and stay well.

GRANDCHILDREN

We've watched our children grow up and now we get to watch our grandchildren grow.  PRICELESS!

PREGNANT

I was in a checkout line the other day.  The checkout was pregnant.  The lady checking out was pregnant also.  They chatted about their condition.  The checkout then said  that this was the pregnant line.  I could only hang my head and say "I only look pregnant."

IT'S TIME FOR A RANT!

My congratulations go out to the news media.  They have given the Colorado shooter just what he wanted.  Fame and Notoriety.  But hey, it's job security for them because some  other waste of skin will want his fame too. thus another story and 15 more minutes of fame for the media.
 His name should only be said twice.  Once when he is charged, and once after he is executed.  Enough said.

REAL LOVE

I've been married 41 years, I'm a lucky man.  My wife has also been married 41 years, but I don't think she is as lucky as I am!

FRIENDS

A true friend expects nothing from you and you expect nothing from them.  If you have half a dozen  true friends in your lifetime you are truly blessed.

OLD SAYING

My truck broke down last week and I had to drive this one for two days.  It reminds me of that old saying, "You don't know what you had till you lose it".  Thank goodness it was only temporary.

SAFETY CONE

Driving by many constructions zones I observed many traffic cones.  I wondered what it would be like to be a safety cone, so I tried it.  It was brutal.  (Don't try this at home.  It should be attempted by by a licenced professional only!)

In my travels I believe I've come across the smallest corporation headquarters in the world.

     Living among Norwegians all my life,  I have come to the conclusion that Ufdah has more meanings than any other word in the English language, but it can not be defined.

     Youth is definitely for the young.  When oldsters try youth they usually end up looking like fools.

     Don't be upset if you don't know the answer to a question, because if you knew everything, you wouldn't have any friends.
